Some interesting stuff can be found on these London frequencies. The traffic is primarily cruising aircraft going between Europe and the USA. These frequencies are also very useful for identifying overflights and contrails on a clear day. Depending on your location and setup you will pick up different frequencies at different qualities. The majority of Westbound traffic departs Europe mid-morning and passes overhead Manchester at about midday. The majority of Eastbound traffic departs the USA in the evening their time and arrives in Europe during the early morning.
